Sugar Cloud Baking Company started in 2008 when Serena, a traditionally trained baker decided to turn her love of baking and art into a career. Serena began baking from an early age and has since dedicated many years in order to achieve exceptionally delectable baked goods. Her business originally started as a small company, Artista Cakes. Over the years, her wonderful reputation as an artisan baker and cake designer grew along with her business. As the business evolved and grew, so did the name. Now known as Sugar Cloud Baking Company, which focuses not only on beautiful and delicious wedding and celebration cakes, but also ecommerce, selling custom made wedding cake accessories, tutorials and decorating essentials. There is definitely a sweet passion behind all this creation!
“I know that when I create a cake, I am creating something much more. Wedding and event cakes are the centerpiece of the reception party. They are permanently affixed to our memories when we look back on our wedding photos. Cakes are much more than desserts to me. It is an artform, a way of life, and a way of capturing a bit of heaven on earth. A bride’s cake is the most important cake of her life. I pour a lot of energy into each cake design. I truly do my best to recreate what the client’s vision is. I usually create a full color sketch of the cake during the planning process.
The most wonderful feeling in the world is knowing that I play a small part in making a wedding day magical. I love what I do. Bringing joy to my clients is the greatest reward. Every new creation is a one of a kind, and they both encourage clients to explore designs that are both imaginative and personal to them, this is what makes them stand out from the rest.
